Hi, I’m Prof Abdul Farooq

With 44 years’ professional experience in civil engineering,
Professor Farooq’s expertise spans the whole life cycle of
projects. He has specialized in bridges, piled foundations
(civil structures and bridges) and tunnel engineering in the
UK and internationally. As a Director-Major International
Bridges and Lead Expert with Mott MacDonald, Professor
Farooq has been responsible for the study, design,
construction supervision, technical advice for major Bridge
projects worldwide.


As an Expert Witness, Professor Farooq has been instructed
on many major bridge project cases internationally and has
given oral evidence in court in 3 arbitration cases (UK-2004),
(Russia-2014), (Dubai-2021).
